Heather and Grandpa Quigley

As you all know by now Heather was officially diagnosed with a lymphoma type cancer on August 7 after being in the ICU for one week. This has been one year coming as she has been having symptons for that long and they have not been able to determine what the problem was. She has a rare form of Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder which is caused by her immunosuppressents that she has been on for 16 years. She is taking this in stride and we love her so very much. Heather had her first round of chemo on August 7 and was released from the hospital and we moved her back home with us. This has been quite an undertaking and I appreciate Jerri and Jan even more for all the work they have done for Dad during his chemo treatments. Heather lost her hair early this morning on August 19. We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Quigley. Heather is taking this very well. I am very proud of her.
